My gaming console progression was :
Nintendo 8 bit ---> sega genesis ---> Nintendo 64 ---> Xbox ---> Xbox360

Haven't played any video games in years :(

What was your progression ? Always felt those that went to Super Nintendo were softies but damn I secretly wanted to play it

Mine was:

Only handhelds I had were the original, huge Gameboy and a used PSP I mainly use for playing Final Fantasy games on the can. And all those one-game handhelds in the early/mid 90s

2600 -> DOS (can call it PC in general) -> NES -> SNES/Genesis -> Dreamcast -> PSX -> XBOX (legacy) -> almost strictly PC -> have a 360 but it's basically for media networking

I started with intellivision -> turbographix 16 -> original brick game boy -> 486mhz PC/dos -> N64 -> PS1 -> game boy advanced -> back to PC -> Xbox360 -> I don't play games anymore but I still own everything listed above other than the intellivision which I made the stupid mistake of giving away :(

I didn't include the many variants of Gameboy.

Does a tomagachi(sp?) Count?
Along with the power glove, that never friggin worked, the power chair, d pad was leaning, the power mat (forget the real name) also had a cartridge modem for one of the early systems, again never worked.

apple ][+ (1 mhz)->30 mhz mac -> 80 mhz power mac ->300 mhz mac lap top -> built PC ->better built PC
in there is SNES ->N64 -> XBOX 360 :P
I played with a COLECO vision for a bit too :P

A lot of those consols mentionned above bring back memories including the NES vs SEGA arguments back in the day.. when you are 10 it matters! :P

i still have my original gameboy color that resides in the bathroom... sometimes i feel the urge to play tetris or pokemon pinball :P

but other than that... this god-forsaken text based game is the only game i still play... i cant figure out why

Still regret selling my Amiga 500 for SNES! Wtf was I thinking? Sure, SNES was awesome, but Amiga was out of this world with so many great games... Oh well, I guess nostalgia always makes things even better ;)
