my 1st ever countrry survived somewhat nicely (top100) but that was ~14 years ago.

Patience: Yep, I'm with ELK and Marshal.

ELKronos: Patty is more hairy.

It was back in my early Earth 2025 days. I signed on to a dead country, so when I told my coworker about it , he printed the news and gave it to me the next day..

10 years later, I'm cleaning out some old file cabinets and found the print out.

I remember the 1st set I played, my son and 3 of his friends and myself created countries and we had a blast trying to figure things out. the boys started challenging each other, one of them named "Joey" did his 1st landgrab and came back to a clansite one of them had created and bragged about his awesome 10 acre landgrab..LMAO...We called him "10acre Joey" after that...everyone else was landgrabbing alot more than that, but Joey was pretty proud..

We're are still in contact with Joey and still call him "10acre Joey" and he still gets embarassed today..even though he no longer plays.

I was sad but relieved when Earth2025 went away. I was going to miss the game, but now didn’t have a major distraction in life.

Then I found Earth Empires. I was excited to play again.

Conclusion:
Earth Empires is the new cyber crack/meth.
