Yeah, I've used the name NightShade now since January 2004. There wasn't much of a point in having four dozen usernames, of differing gender, nationality, etc... especially after I quit spying on alliances.

I was a leader in one TC alliance under one username, and a leader in another that was TC and later ESYN under another username most would recognize — all while I was leading SOTA, as Slash. And in all honesty, that subterfuge worked beyond my wildest dreams. Once it became too much of a pain in the ass to micromanage all of my "identities", I started over with a new username.
