its not a mod error, its just always been a user error to have farmers sell for 30-40 when they should be selling for ~200-250

its not supply/demand

its just that you have some n00bs that have always settled for JUST making profit over the private market price.

but collectively the farmers could up the standard price and nobody could do anything about it until it got to ~200 but you will always have the guy that undercuts the market.

with everything else you have a lower private market price to keep it competitive, thats not the case with bushels and farmers have been missing that huge chunk of change for a long while.

Its supply and demand!

Cashers and techers have X amount of cash they need to spend to stay under 2b cash and to feed the population.

Farmers have Y amount of Food to get rid of to make money.

If you sell Y at $50 and it stays at $50. Thats cause demand is met at that price. For arguement sake lets say in a day 1b bushels are bought at $50 meaning it cost 50B cash.

If the farmers then all said hey lets sell for $300. The cashers/techers only have $50b cash to spend. Meaning out of the 1B bushels at $300 only 166m bushels will get sold.


Meaning the majority of the bushels havent been sold and all those guys dont have money to buy tech or play turns.

So maybe 10 farmers have made a huge profit, while another 70 farmers have no money at all. I'm pretty sure the other 70 players arent just going to say "hey i guess ill just delete my country now"


You cant just say hey If everyone stopped selling at $50 and sold at $300 we would all make a huge profit! Because it isn't going to sell.

We cannot fix your eyes, fingers, nor your brain.

It's not a mod issue as others have stated, and dropping the price too much might actually affect the public market, but $300 private market bushels are a bit silly. You could easily drop it to $100 and it wouldn't even come close to affecting the market, but would make the hit of doing something silly less damaging.

Then again, if you want to have a few things in there to punish silly people like Donny and Bigwiggle for only putting minimal attention into actually playing countries, that's cool too.
