The problem to me is that this is like a cheap fix to the problems associated with war and really serves no purpose nor does it increase the skill required to war properly.

Both sides in a war are affected by the changes yes and it is fair across both sides but that does not make it a good change.

The change was designed to lesson the impact of a FS and slow down kills on a country. The slowing down of a kill I am fine with, but this will not make a FS any less severe. All that happens now is that if a country can come online while being GSed down he can buy up 2mil troops and basically add another 200 attacks to the amount needed to kill. How is that good?

There is no more planning a rush to kill a waller, that is a huge war tactic now effectively removed from the game. Rushing a waller was always a game of chess that was one of the most enjoyable challenges in a war.... well it no longer exists.

The new changes are a fluff bandaid fix that tries to be too clever by coming up with their 'own solution' rather than listen to actual changes that are logical and target the problem.

Any wonder Servant is a champion of this change? lol

Making kills runs longer is good, but doing this by increasing the number of turns required to kill a country is stupidity. They are not mutually exlusive.

I did enjoy coming online and having the chance of being rushed and stonewalling bouncing hits. That was always fun to me. Anyway I think there should be 2 alliance servers a beta one and this one. The beta they can test all this bullfluff out before it comes over here. As you will have your netting tags there and your war tags. Yes it will be 2 servers almost the same BUT one will have a different style game play try new fluff ever set. Increase, decrease turns. Change govt stats I personaly think it would be fun.

I posted this on B&S already but what should happen is

A) Slow down kills (only 1 attack per second, or per few seconds). This makes walling easier since kills take longer.

B) Compensate for (A) by making walling less ridiculous. Simply buying 500k troops or whatever shouldn't increase the number of hits needed to kill by such an extreme amount. Under the old system, buying troops didn't increase the number of turns needed to kill a country - it required running turns to gain pop. Find a median ground between the 2.

TLDR version: (A) makes killing harder, (B) makes killing wallers easier, and both balance each other out.

SOF are strong due to leeching off LAF for two years. LAF whose main rise was during the leadership of a database and game hacker. A leader who set records in networth and underhanded tactics only to have his countries deleted. SOF manufactures a 1 on 1 war against an alliance who has taken more defends in more uneven contests than any other alliance in the existence of the game and beats their chest like they're Muhammad Ali.

Also that post was a joke(thought it was obvious). I had a good time in this war it sort of felt like old time sof vs sol battles. Except the numbers are 1/3 of what they used to me. I have much respect for sol even tho they are and always will be one of my favorite alliances to kill.
