whats a good amount of turrets for defense? i see people looking for defense allies from time to time and i was wondering what those people would like in one, 1m+ turrets?

There is no set answer for this. It depends on a lot of different factors. If you keep getting hit, then get more turrets!

i suppose so :B yeah i keep getting hit by the same guy, and i cant tell how many units he's sending so im not sure how effective my defenses are Q.Q

spy on him to find out how much he sends then just but enough turrets

Troops = 1 offense / 1 defense
Jets = 2 offense / 0 defense
Turrets = 0 offense / 2 defense
Tanks = 4 offense / 4 defense

You can know how much defense you have without looking at how much the person attacking you is sending. Just add it up and multiply by bonuses (weapons tech if you have it, or dictatorship government).

When people ask for defensive allies, the amount of defense they want depends how far the round has gone. If you can avoid getting attacked too much you can be a good defense ally for someone.

If someone is attacking you a lot, you've either run into someone looking for a fight, or you are quite inadequately defended. You need to boost your defense and get your country defended in order to stop it, and you may want to fight back against the person who beat you up. If you can't attack him back with a standard or planned strike, you can try to hit him with an artillery barrage or missiles.

Yah it's 4/4 I just fluffed it up. I actually calculate turrets as 1 and troops as 0.5 and tanks at 2 when I do my calculations, so that's why I wrote tanks as 2 there.

sadly with my current build blid, i cant attack people at all (no troops other than turrets) so if any of you wanna help me bolster up my defense do send me a message :)

DR is God Mode in express ;)

It means diminishing returns.

It's how many times you've been hit in the last 24 hours. If you've been hit a lot, the returns become bad.
