A few years ago, there was a spam ad that got posted on the forums, and it started off with "Hey, it's Jim." . . . and then told us about some free screen savers his family liked, and it evolved into what passes for a legitimate thread, complete with a flame war both bashing Jim and defending his interest in the free screen savers. . . and then the thread filled up. And then a few days later, another thread popped up asking if anyone had heard from Jim.

jim only wanted to benefit others with his familys favourite screensavers. he was doing gods work, really.
