Remember utopia on swirve? well that game also has its own website I posted a forum about earth to hopefully bring some old players back.. utopia was pretty boring compared with earth but some ppl enjoyed playing i guess..

Actually there are 50vs90 wars in utopia too. Even though it was not permitted there was lots of kingdom alliances last I played it...

they bought the game from jolt, thats why they have such a huge database your old login from jolt will work on there boards

When you declare war on a kingdom in Utopia, if other kingdoms hit you, they get fluff returns.

But alot of cheating fake war going on there at the time I was playing.

Now that I heard you can actually use real money to get into a kingdom you want. ><

I played Utopia for a long time until I was dragged into Earth 2025. It didnt take long after that to abandon Utopia.

I always hated having a new kingdom all the time with new people, unlike the alliances in Earth that remained the same.

The last time I played Utopia was 2003

There are a lot of weird people there but the game is actually pretty fun. I played like three ages in one of the best kingdoms called "screwups"

Thing is, when 2 kingdoms are at war, if one gets hit simultanously by 1 or several others, it has no big chance of winning, regardless of the limited damage.

And yes, the fact that there's always many slots free in fluff kingdoms, and none in the good (since people leave bad kingdoms all the time, but tend to stay should they be lucky and find themselves in a decent one) is a huge problem. I tried to turn many sinking ships around, but there were always 80%+ undedicated nubs and experienced wannabees who thought they deserved better and couldn't handle having to work to improve a kingdom.

The best kingdom I ever got into fell apart only like three or four ages after I joined. A majority voted to join an alliance (I voted against), and we got involved in a series of boring conflicts, had to attack kingdoms at war and dec certain kingdoms etc. Everything we did had to be for the benefit of the alliance (i.e. the couple of core kingdoms), meanwhile we got nothing out of it at all. Why people voted for this after an age with 13 wins in 14 wars is beyond me...

i keep an account in a mediocre kingdom... we basically just float along until we get a war, then win 50% of the time, then sit there til we get another. during times between war i dont do anything, i just log in once a day to keep from being marked inactive. and to be basically a "good" player, when war comes along, all you have to do is log on twice a day and send an attack. it's a pretty dull experience, but we at least don't have the problems you're complaining about. we generally keep our players, and nobody ever hits into any of ours wars

There's actually a better version of Utopia out there, with inbuilt attack/ops calculation systems (instead of external sites), better graphics, CB/CE/SoM data instantly stored onsite (so you can look them up anytime), internal and game chat, and you can still play it using your phone.

Difference is:

-12 player per kingdom limit
-items that you bid for (with free gold that you can earn by doing ops/attacks or ones that you pay for)
-auctions every 5 minutes for items
-new dragons
-new age changes that actually make sense

I played in a top war kingdom for a while before I burned out from the constant 2 week-long wars a month and having to hit 3 times a day (including time @ work/sleep). I don't have a smartphone/tablet so it isn't really convenient for me. But it's totally doable and fun for those who do.

Without Utopia, I wouldn't have found Earth 2025.
I was in Utopia, my (Island?) Name was Xintopia (They are Islands no?)- I was in a group of a bunch of Swedes if I recall. I got messaged if I did not want my ...island?... if I could give up the user / pass so friends could be together. I do not think I was too active?
My first country Name in Earth 2025 was Xintopia and I needed a nick to sign my threats to other countries in 1B. Some country named Zantaisia attacked me and we fought, I threatened and got a reply from Zangor.
Long story short, we became allies and found other people in 1b called ourselves CoN - Confederation of Nations (real noobs) then we found Serpentor and EEVIL, fought the Multi Huntaz cuss we each had like 10 countries in 1b. We argued on forums we made ourselves (swirve forums)became friends and turned the Multi_Hutaz into EEVIL multi's lolz.

UTOPIA! so here I am. :-p

i played for about a year with morwen. every time we would win a "war" the other side would refuse to admit defeat, so we couldnt enter a new war to get ur stats up. that fluff was stupid as fluff.

i think i always ran an undead mage or some fluff, if thats what it was called.
