So, waaaaaaaaaaay back when, there was this alliance called either United Alliances, or United Earth Alliances something like that......anyways, it pre dates clan tags......anybody remember that alliance, are there any former members still out there?

I did... we just have to have everyone put their clan tag in their country name.. It worked out pretty well

there was an alliance, but u couldnt tag up in the game like u do now.....if u were a member of an alliance u had to put the tag in your country name......it wasnt something that was not recognized by......Echlon i think at the time, tags were added to the game later

I remember when clan was an insult LOL. ok but really, does anybody remember that alliance at all? I know i got filtered into Cry Havok from there, Which was previously EoN....Echos of Nightfall i think......and then ended up in IX.......

there were tons of little alliances (8-15 members). Many of which had pretty similar names.

UAE, UA, UBN, UNA, and a billion more heh.

I was in one with a name like UAE, or something for the last 2 weeks before the reset Omega started.

I messaged Mostly Harmless that reset asking where LaF's applicaion page was and that dork never wrote back :P

Luckily Castejon was running recruiting spree's in earthchat lol

pretty sure i was in UA.....i remember the homepage had a big earth globe on it, and i was also told not to tell ppl i was in that alliance cuz it was "frowned" on LOL

I played on Solaria, but I mostly played with guys I knew in school. I remember when EMs destroyed SDI tech, but that got nerfed pretty quickly. I also remember when we started 'discovering' the concept of specialized strats.

Bring back Random Servers!

wow, Phellan, FE, Auier i remember them names, Guldan not so much, i had a car wreck between Cry Havok and them merging into IX so i lost a lot pre IX as far as memories go. I know I was in Ragnarok under the alias babysp00k for a set because they were there.

Course i went by LadyGwinivere back then, and then changed my name to TrinityIX when i went to IX.....

I remember buying and selling missles that was awesome.

and i know the server names were Echlon, Swirve, and Solaria but i cant remember in what order

heh yeah i don't remember it all that well either. I think you gained Fame pts for grabbing countries closer to you in Scores, and then those fame points somehow added to your NW..?

And before there were ingame alliance tags, those members lists with country numbers were very valuable commodities.

You do not have Cry Havok merging into IX, or the resulting split off when they went to Ragnarok....there was enough of us for a full division in IX so i think it deserves some representation.

Styx/Cry Havok merged with Ragnarok for a short time, and then moved to IX after a falling out with DIStopia. They did come back to Ragnarok awhile later and played with us till they left the game years later. Although I think Aiuer ended up in LaF later cause he wanted to net?

My memory for ancient earth facts isnt as good as it is for the people I have met and been friends with. Now I miss them :(

Fame - It was just another point system kind of like NW. You would get it for attacking higher players in the game or gaining certain NW's. They had multiple ranking lists back then. Land, NW, Fame..

As for BRE - I also played Barren Realms Elite. Gooey Kablooie.

And yes....there was no food or oil in the earlier games. You could also sell/buy missiles.
