All 16 of mine were killed and received the "restart" bonuses. I opted to use the automatic startups and lost all my cash cs's and land. We shopuldn't be allowed to do this or have to check a "I understand I'll lose all my bonus's" option.

There's an auto startup? What does it do?

Ya, for FFA only, crest, it gives you the option to run various pre programed start ups til turn 99, I don't remeber all lol, go to custom, then start ups...

To apply an automatic startup, a country must be a Monarchy with at least 99 turns on hand, 0 turns played, and have at least 100 acres. Some startups, like rep casher, require a nominal amount of food on the public market.

auto startup is at FFA. it does 99 turn startup as farmer or casher (or prolly indy too) or cs startup but no idea how good those are compared to playing normally.

You can definitely beat the auto-startups if you try.

We never considered what it would do with the new restart rules heh; I guess, if you want a better restart, do it manually ;)

I never used it on restarts, didn't see the need for it with a foundation already laid out ;)

hehe; well I'll see about doing something in there when I get to the FFA Control panel in my recode of the backend; but that's not an easy change for me atm due to the number of patches &etc that would ensue
