Easily the best rivalry in the game. Obviously next reset is going to be a fluff fight everywhere but I long for the days of the closely fought 1 v 1. I'm sure a lot of SOF vets are the same.

My favourite wars;

1. SEP 2000: NorCal accuses TAS of running multies privately to Helmet, SOF fs SOL. I think SOF won but it was a dog fight.

2. SEP 2005: SOF (152) hits SOL (188). SOF were unhappy that SOL hit Ely the set before but it seems there was a bit of internal division in SOF leading to a subpar performance. SOL wins it's first 1 on 1 with SOF.

SOLer sof 97,599 343 <-- 100k hits lol. Those were the days

3. JUN 2006: SOL hits SOF/Exodus. Mostly over the Arcturus wars and the fact SOF were netting. SOL caught them unawares and destroyed both alliances.

Who else agrees 1 v 1 wars are the true test of an alliances manhood! Bring them back!

(I still blame hanlong for fluffing up this reset - could have been SOL v SOF VIII)

Regarding #2

I wouldnt see it as a supbar performance, with a 35 member advantage and sol knowing the FS time it still took SoL 2 weeks before they managed to turn the war around to their favor

Some more favourite wars

Dont remmeber the date atm but SOL after being warned about topfeeding SoF goes ahead and topfeeds Helmet himself, SoF stores turns and FSes SoL and wins the war

SLIT wars

SOF Fses SOL 2 hours before SOLs planned FS time and wrecks complete havoc on SOL, SOL instead of getting beaten by SOF chooses to bring the single war into the server war hoping that will get them a better advantage soon after SLIT focuses all their power on SoF but gives up after amazing stonewalling from the scuddybuddy division and chooses to focus on other tags

Hmm SLIT wars was really the last fun wars imo

I think there were three wars pre 2003 and we won them all. The last one sol claimed moral victory. One round we killed TGA, Legion and still had enough gas to beat Sol.

I still think the best rivalry in the game is Laf VS Laf. I can only compare it to the third episode of Star Wars. The one where a couple bad guys kill off all the good Jedi's. Classic Good vses Evil. With the outcome still in doubt my fellow earthers and i will have to wait on pins and needles. Who will declare victory first?

lies and truth in this game have so many definitions and variables. It depends on points of view. Every alliance have it`s own truth and it`s own lies.
