Hey Jeremy, thanks for your post. That may just be the status of this server / game. And if that is the case, then so be it. I guess the decision that YOU have to make, and every other alliance in this game who wants to farm us is whats really important? You can make the decision now to farm us, and you have a short term gain ( you get acres from us, and maybe finish 5 places higher then otherwise). But what are you really doing? You see for some of us, playing in a smaller alliance is the only way we choose to play. It literally is a case of, if we can't play in a smaller alliance ( which the game allows people to do... create a clan.. ) then we will just choose NOT to play the game at all.
Is that our decision? I guess, if you want to be anal about it. But really the decision was forced apon us. Noone wants to be farmed all set long, achieving a 4m nw finish, instead of a 20m nw finish if left. But i guess as you say, we'll too bad.
But what i really want to ask you the question is, can you not look past the short term gain, and realise perhaps your actions will cause a long term negative impact on the game you so love.
I love this game, However the constant farming will not drive me to another alliance. It will simply make the decision to quit alot easier. As addicting as this game might somewhat be, the time spent on R/L stuff would far outway the benefits wife / kids /work with the extra time. But i choose, to put hours into this game each week, building up a small alliance, to be farmed the fluff out is not a long term interest worth pursuing.
So please, by all means keep your BIG ONLINE EGO in this game. Keep farming the
fluff out of the smaller tags, and then say 'well thats just part of the game, join a larger alliance'. Regardless of whether you would ever admin it ( see ego comment ) Only a small portion of the smaller tags will join larger ones. Most will leave. Then the now smaller established tags and netting tags that can't war will get the focus cause you still need that land so RAGE, NA, OMEGA, NEO and MONSTERS become targets. And shortly after they have the same idea. And so a portion of them join the larger tags, and a large portion who have played for many years in the same tag just leave. And the alliance list gets smaller, the player list gets so small, and maybe then, you might actually see past your ego and realise... fluff WE SHOULD OF DONE SOMETHING.
And sure you can troll this comment off to infinity. Do it, and you'd never allow yourself to go fluff i was wrong for farming those new players a new ass hole. But i'll check in, and giving you a right royal virtual fluffing 'I TOLD YOU SO'...
