It has come to our attention that some people here seems to think that it is ok for them to make death threats/ harm against other players due to things that happens in game.

From this point on, there will be zero tolerance for such things. This includes Forum posts, Ingame messages and PM's thru the forum message system.

Forum Bans will start at 1 month and get longer from there,

Ok on to my second point.

People who post messages claiming " I will get you banned" or "I can and will get you banned from playing " , these messages will now be deleted on the spot and if a person continues to make these claims a 24 hour frum ban will be applied.

No moderator will delete a country or forum ban someone just because someone asks them to. even the admins cant ask us to do it if they play the server involved.

If you receive a message of this kind message a copy of the person message to a moderator or if its ingame report the message.
So everyone please consider yourselves warned.

question. so what is considered a reportable and deletable message?

example. some guy in team called me a retard. does that mean i can click report and he will be deleted? or if i call someone a douche for unleasing a missile at me, is that deletable?

why is JJ23 trying to find ways to get people removed from the game because of his past history of deletions?

i state that JJ23 has been deleted multiple times, and he attempts to seek a way to get me permabanned. if he was Catholic, he could just go to confession and get all his sins absolved after doing some penance.

people are retarded, why the fluff would you say fluff like that over a game. If you all really wanted to you could trace back the IP link the email with the ip and the game data and send it to the cops. Only down side is thats alot of work and I don't know if it would hold up.

After what happened last year with Jared in Arizona, it is very easily held up, as far as I am concerned. Remember he played this game, I am sure the FBI would take interest in anything pang showed them

Posting on the forums really isn't a requirement of playing the game, so IMO a forum ban is unlikely to really bother anyone.

Stupid. As if there aren't enough people calling in for stupid crap already. If you report everyone for making death threats to the police departments, they wouldn't even have enough people to even go knock on all these suspect's doors.
And btw, it's not that easy to find a person's address using IP. IP address identifies your specific computer at a general location. Your ISP has to give up your information which they are not willing to do unless a court order forced them to. So you can tell what town they're in or even what part of town but you don't know which residence exactly.
Nowadays with dynamic IPs, anonymous surfings, 3G/4G, you are hard pressed unless you have the ISP's cooperation. This is not the movies!

well then warster, you should ban people who make accusations, specifically cheating ones.

if its not purple, its obv not cheating. you should issue warnings and bans to these kinds of people.

WARSTER, you yourself have stated many times.. if people think someone is cheating they should report ingame or contact you as a mod. this board accusation is getting out of control. i feel like if you have levied some bans RE this issue, people would think twice before spewing.

Warster, this is a good move and makes it clear and easy for everyone to see and understand. Only a person who is mental would have problem with this. I am sure almost anyone (at least all but a couple) of people would think threatening a persons life deserves an auto ban of at least a month. I am all for it.
