Cheating and politics killed the game long ago. When the two prop each other up it can't be long before the plug is finally pulled.

Wow this game must be dying when the forum moderator thinks its going to die haha.

I am not saying it will - but if a significant portion of the player base is supporting cheaters, I can't imagine the future is bright. It is up to the players to take some ownership for the game and their actions, and to be unified against cheating, rather than just being content with a slap on the wrist.

the best way for me to avoid getting dragged into a cheating scandal is simply to not play the game.

i remember back in the day some dude threatened to beat duque up on his doorstep..i think somebody even gave him his real address. good ol days of AT :D

I`ll give you the most representative example it can be : Helmet.

Since the start of this cheating scandal he is trying to minimize ( in every possible thread on AT ) the impact of the Laf leaders cheating.

He is posting sarcastic on every single thread and he seems to have a memory loose and not remember what droove him and Sof out of the games.

When such a representative of this game is "somehow" on the cheating side, the game itself can be erassed and forgotten.

how is it Helmet's fault that Detmer wants to punish the entire class because he couldn't figure out which student hit him with the spitball?
