I'm glad we didn't get Blackmon. He's overrated.

I wish we had gotten DeCastro. But Brockers has upside, he's got some crazy agility for a guy that weights over 320 pounds. Brockers is a risky pick, but he's got upside and fills a need. I would have preferred strengthening the middle of our line with the best guard that has been in the draft for quite a while.

the rams have 3 second round picks, plus all that extra goodness from the redskins trade. Given that blackmon went 5th, it made sense from them to trade down for an extra 2nd round pick.

after the jags leapfrogged them, it's not that bad to trade down. But the rams still need a receiver who can actually catch a pass very urgently.

Cardinals had the steal of the first round. Michael Floyd will go 1200/15 this year. Blackmon is overrated.

I'm not too thrilled that the Bucs traded down and lost Claiborne... CB was a bigger need than SS considering Talib may be in jail and Barber is 500 years old.

Don't feel too bad. There's a very good chance that the 2nd pick in the draft tonight is Cody Fleener. With the Rams having taken Kendricks last year, there's basically zero chance that the Rams take Fleener, and I think chances are very good that the Colts decide to make Luck happy and make sure that he gets a familiar target to throw to. Picking Fleener isn't even a reach, he was expected to go late 1st round or early 2nd round, but if he can be paired up with a QB he's played with before, he's a great value.
