Also, arguably Barca is the (one of the if not the) best team out there. If Chelsea can beat them why not Bayern? Real would be tough but they have to get through Bayern first.

Why not? Because chelsea will actually try to play football, and let's say they face Bayern:

Robben and Ribery will tear your defence to shreds. Also their team is a lot fitter than Chelsea's and their work ethic is even higher.

Madrid I won't even start on the amount of players they've got.

Barcelona's main problem has been Villa being injured. His movement, pace and skill upfront could have made the difference. When you look at the Barca bench today it had a bunch of Barca youth players, not as strong as it was last year through injuries etc.

But Real Madrid's if you face them - their bench is better than Chelsea's starting 11.

Barca have been on a rough streak lately, you could see their lack of confidence. In reality, Barca lot this game more than Chelsea won it.

Anoniem - Barca is the best club team on the planet today. If you can beat Barca in Spain you can beat anybody in Germany. I don't see how anybody can suggest that Chelsea will have that hard of a time given how they performed against Barca. It'll be a competitive final regardless who joins Chelsea.

Barca looked tired, which given the size of their squad, lack of rotation of players and number of games this season isnt all that surprising.

Chelsea... they had what 3 shots in 180 minutes? they may have won the game, but they certainly wont have won any fans. Terry got what he deserved, and chelsea will get what they deserve when real beat them in the final. And it is a when, not if.

SolidSnake - I hope you be quite a bit on that outcome. The odds on Real to win the final must be at least 4-1 right now given they haven't even made it.

i'm glad torres scored. i always hoped he would do well for chelsea, cos he seems like a nice guy and all the criticisms he's been getting has been kinda unfair - people have wanted him to fail before he even kicked a ball for chelsea.
