You've played the game for 10+ years. You know all the alliances, you know all the people, and you know where you'd want to play. Why the post asking people to beg you to come play with them?

Also, I don't know all the people. I took a long break between 08/09 and now. In the last few sets with Omega I've basically stuck to just Omega. Only in the last month or so have I gotten more active on AT. I forget where a lot of people played, and a lot of the alliances have changed over the years. Also - this gives folks the opportunity to express their willingness to let me join. I'm sure there are alliances that might not want me. Also, it lets me figure out who actually wants me to join, rather than end up in a place that will just have me. I'm having a great time in Omega. if I'm going to go somewhere else it isn't just so I can have a different tag - it's so I can be part of a fun community of players that I know. The few alliance leaders who have PMed me already have helped me to narrow it down to places where I know I'd be welcome.

But that's all about 1% of the reason. The most if it is pretty much the ego thing.

It'll give me the best opportunity to win. And not only just to win in the regular reset or just to win 5 days in a row or 3 days in a row, I want to win championships. The things that RD have done to free up server space and to be able to have me was just wonderful. You add me, were gonna be a really good team.

Leaving Omega is a heartfelt decision for me. It's hard to explain, but at the same time the heart that I gave to that alliance over the last 10 years is everything. Those 20,000+ acres that I explored every set were with all my heart. They saw me grow from a 13 year old boy to a 24 year old man, and, um, I never wanted to leave Omega and my heart will always be around that alliance but I also felt like this was the greatest challenge for me was to move on.

And we're gonna win. Not one. Not two. Not three. Not four. Not five. Not six!
