They are not random at all. I took the top list of most landfat countries from earthgraps, hit each country with low networth and high land once, making sure i do not hit 1 alliance more then once a day and trying to avoid countries i have grabbed before. Once i reached the end of the list i looked at which alliances i had not grabbed yet and selected targets of opportunity from there.

No need to spin. We don't farm. If they leave us alone, we leave them alone. It was 3 grabs, with no chance to recover. It's unfortunate, but that's how it goes.
