Due to personal reasons (excessive work and family commitment - the reasons why my last 2 sets were played hugely delayed and at least 50% explorer) and also partly because of the current state of Express, I'm taking an indefinite break from Express.

It has been immense fun in the past 8 months or so that I've played. I will still be sticking around in the other servers, so you can still catch me there. Or simply forum PM me =)

I will drop by once in a while just to say hi and may play a set or 2 depending on my availability.

So until then, cheers!

Some of you should have seen alliance server during RD period ( when RD and anti RD were fighting on the server with bots).

this type of DR cheating is like a new borne in comparation with Mehul era.

Since so many good players are quiting due to DR abuse, I guess I will do so aswell.

I KoHeartsGPA hereby quit trying to Net in Express Server until DR is fixed (as promised by martian), from this point on ill be warring every set, this means I will seek war even if I don't get grabbed, cheers!

I wont miss anybody.

However I do not like to see less countries. The goal is to grow this server for all our fun.

With that said, It's clearly GDI that has taken us to new lows.

I agree with Fatty about the GDI. It has resulted in too much protection for shameless bottomfeeders. And now we have DR protection for people playing as clans who purposely put each other into DR. So the protection offered by DR for the little countries who are bottomfed is being abused. All that being said, I still enjoy Express and will keep playing and trying to get better at the game.

I think this might be worth trying: 6 Hours DR in Express. Humanitarian protection with GDI if you are 6 times smaller or bigger. Eliminate GDI protection from ABS, GS's and harmful spyops after one attack on a country, but only by the country you have attacked.

Its sad to see so many players leaving because of DR. I was thinking about it too but ill stick around for now - i only half play most sets anyway, so i guess now i'll play more like quarter way.

Hope they fix DR soon or this server which is so much fun will be devoid of good players.

One more set like this and i'm out too till DR gets fixed

JJ what happened to your Team country? Looks like you blinked. I guess that's what happens when you have no 'friends' to come help you out, no DR, no tech leeching, spy countries, intel leeching, offense leeching, and defense leeching. It's so tough playing one country ain't it?

For those that don't know. JJ was given a little, just a little attention, he failed black ops cos he had no country to spy for him, failed his retal, and then proceeded to self-delete. But I guess he was testing out a new strat that no one has ever heard of.

I'm out as well, for the past 3-4 resets it's been proven that the only viable strategy involves abusing DR. I'll be back when DR is fixed in express.

DR is a very effective defense. A few sets ago I played a landfarm rep casher with zero military, no allies. I finally bought a few turrets Saturday night and jumped Sunday morning in a DR of 14. I came 6th.

So its no wonder people can win by exploiting DR with friends. I think we should remember that the rules clearly state "Clans are not allowed". This is a solo server.

Also, for multiple reasons, I wish JJ23 would be permanently banned from this game.

1. that will never happen. i could be purpled 10 resets in a row and they would not have the power to do that.

2. i obv didnt get deleted so i didnt cheat. i have no control over who does what after i hit them. you idiots seem to think i know the owner of the country who DRed me. if that was the case, it would be a clan activity and therefore would be deleted... but obv the mods felt that it was not the case.

3. keep talking, and every rock lobster country you run burns down into ashes.

I believe the game admins need to take a look at how the game was when it was peaked in the early 2000's.

Clearly GDI and DR changes have negatively effected the game and is causing people to stop playing.

Sometimes no change is better.

Perhaps Earth is best left as it was.

as much as i liked it when it was 450 turns on hand and no gdi protection, nobody would play this server anymore. too many people like killing more then netting. one thing is for sure the top networth threshholds were MUCH lower back then. i got top 10 with an 11m net.

u can still do that pain. play tourney. it happens just every reset.

11-12M is a borderline top10 score.

i rememember my first reset in express i started about 200 turns late and got 15M nw. i think made top 5, if not top 3. winning score was like 18-19M nw.

these days, 15M nw might not make top 20.

I think i'll stop playing Express as well: it's pretty annoying having to deal with DR abuse.

I'll just end this set than focus on other servers.
