im happy to have paid of my CCs after college. interest rate is insane. funny thing is once u pay them off, they lower your interest rate... at 11.24 pct now. w00t.

im not concerned with my int rate as i pay off my balances each and every month on the 2 cards i use.

therefore no int. its more about the benefits.

like the Amex gives me 3 pct cash back.. so thats kinda cool.

id rather have it taken out of my bank account which earns less than 0.1 pct interest than pay int at 11.24 pct on a CC for keeping a balance.

i don't want to spend a month arguing with the bank about returning my money if somebody uses my account fraudulently. plus i pay the CC off monthly, which is why i'm not paying any interest on the card.
