Here are a few instances from a quick look of EVO leaders dismissing landtrading as inferior to bottomfeeding.

I think landtrading is a good way of recreating the land lost due to suiciders/kamikaze members etc, other than that i wouldn't really participate., not because it's wrong, but because i dont want to play the game that way.

actually evo's pact wouldn't allow for back and forth trading, as a country may only be grabbed once every 48hrs. personally, i prefer it that way, as it don't "abuse" the system.
personally, i think it'll become a sad state of affairs if everyone adopts landtrading (i.e. the blindly back and forth grabbing over extremely short periods of time), because there will be no competitive element and the whole server will be running on 100k turrets lol :P
ah well, we all have our opinions! even if some are closer than others.

Ghost acre returns should be nerfed just because of RD and PDM. When a fluff alliance is 10k acres ahead of a very good netgaining alliance in average land, theres something wrong. Very wrong.
There is some difference between farming a 10m NW country (482) and farming a 1m NW country (485). In one case the player kept defense and was not detagged, in the other case he dropped all defense and was detagged. I'm sure there are other cases of players dropping out, but I was just commenting on the content here (482). As I said before, I'm ok with the general concept, so I'm not sure why you are singling me out, anoniem.
