Let me now get one thing straight with everyone.... Dagga is not a troll, or at the very least he is not a good troll.

Call it whatever you want, flaming, whining, whinging, complaining, etc... What he does is just not trolling.

The sole purpose of trolling is to get an emotional response from people. Dagga is not seeking emotional responses from people, his posts are emotional to begin with.

People keep labelling him a troll when in most of his threads he is the one being trolled. Does that make sense?

I do this in the interests of educating the server.

The broader definition may not apply to dagga, but some of these traits match up (and not just to dagga, this is a common theme across a subset of posters on EE... but this thread is about dagga so... lucky winner!)

I was going to make another thread to provide evidence of this but unfortunately Pang banned Dagga and now my plan is on hold.

Pang didn't ban dagga; if bans happen, they aren't done by the people at whom their posts are directed.

chances are if you are banned on alliance talk it's myself who did it. Not always, but 95% of the time:P

dagga is one of the best trolls on here. he gets an emotional response soon as they see that it was posted by him. ususally involves remembering the smell of dirty diapers, or that baby dance from that TV show. Allie McBeagle or something or other.

Who doesn't enjoy the whiff of a dirty diaper from time to time?

A real troll says things regardless of whether he believes them or not to provoke an emotional response.

I was going to provide an example of this but Dagga has been banned and alas I will not be able to do so at this point in time ;)

I think people use troll wrong. Its like some posters cant process information or something and any idea, policy, game change etc. that they disagree with is labeled as a form of trolling.
