How about dropping the off and def allies? I mean, as such the game itself would be all about being capable of defending your own land, and grabbing as much as you can while considering govt and weapon's tech only. It would make LGing both easier and more risky. Bcuz if you fail, err, you're screwed (unless he can't retal), as you can't depend on your allies - since allies for everything else would be possible (just not off nor def).
