rip dvds to .mp4 with minimal quality loss? I wanna stream my movies from my pc to my roku box but taking 4 hrs to rip then convert is a pita, lol

currently using dvdfab w/ hd decrypter then handbrake to convert.

Aiseesoft DVD Ripper worked pretty well last time i used it...

How long it takes is largely dependent on your CPU, Memory and disk swap space. Encoding video and sound takes LOTS of resources. if you don't mind my asking, what are the specs on your computer?

puters a pos lol, prollie about 8 years old, amd 3000 with 2gb ram, so basically ee is the only thing I can run on it haha

imtoo seems decent as it converts on the fly as opposed to needing to decrypt then convert

you can use PeerBlock to filter out those nasty watchdog servers.

on the subject of computers. my laptops is a ASUS G74SX and my desktop is a custom build. TMI to post everything in it but i built with gaming Crysis and Crysis 2 in mind plus some image, video, and 3D rendering software i use. if you are really interest in it [i'm sure many of you don't care] just ask me. pm usually gets my attention.
