The theme for MD this next reset is 80's Pop Songs.

I have picked perhaps the greatest song of all time, entitled,
The Final Countdown by Europe.

I have been THREATENED by MD leadership because they claim this great title is not a 1980's pop song, but rather a rock n or roll song.

Fine citizens of Earth, would you consider this song to be pop or rock?

80's classical music is way better

Schnittke's 4th Symphony, Part's St John Passion, etc.

it's a hit on the pop charts
makes no sense that it wouldn't qualify

i could see the arguement if it hit on some other chart, but NOT the pop chart

No song with that amount of keyboarding could be considered rock...Pop for sure...Although Boston could rock a keyboard in there pretty good, but I still say pop for "The Final Countdown."
