Because Land Trading isn't as easy you fluff heads think :p
You have to rebuild buildings, Military and CS, so you are actually trading stock/cash for land.
aka $$ for Land
There is an optimal point and once past it, you are just wasting stock/cash to get more useless Land that won't pay itself before the end of the set.
That is why
Grabbing > Land Trading > Exploring.
Land trading is only better than grabbing past the 35K acres and that depends of how fast you can reach those numbers.
in a server without targets Land Trading is a good option to get a good finish, but if everyone land trades and you are left as the only grabber then you will probably pull ahead by ten fold as long as you know what you are doing.
That is the reason why the admins don't do much about it, is because isn't unbalanced, and don't say fluff about all explore, because those countries can't compete with any semi decent land grabber much less with the good ones.
Next time you complain about land traders, just think that there are less people bottomfeeding and the small guys, and that is trully where the real gains are.
Land Trading and LG are just like the relations of Farmer and Techers.
Get a ton of techers and Tech market goes to hell and food prices spike, get a ton of farmers and tech market stays good most of the set and the food stays cheap for the best of the set.
