[Bug] MMORPG: You have already voted

This comes up quite often, it's a known problem and not much can be done about it. Please read on.

The site doesn't have a unique identifier for every person (which is pretty dumb).

Somebody from the same ISP (and probably lives close to you) has already voted for EE or another game they play, making it impossible for anybody else in your area (on that ISP) to vote as well.

It's not something thats controlled from this side, you might want to try contacting them and voicing your opinion on the matter. http://www.top100arena.com/contact.asp

it sounds like it happens to people with static ip's as well as dynamic so a pretty weird system

from our end we should allow the option to not notify when top100arena bonus is available so its easier to notice the others

or just say how many are available

Something needs to be done about this. Can't this site be dropped altogether? I'm sure there's plenty of other game ranking sites out there... the internet's a pretty big place.

I get error messages daily. Most of the time, I can bypass it using a proxy, but not always. I know that I'm far from the only person who has consistent problems with it. Not having access to the bonus points puts a good number of people at a disadvantage.

A good replacement would be a "click this ad"-type bonus. That way, you guys can get some Google money, and we can get our bonus points consistently.

Especially for Commie/Indy, points are needed to reduce expenses. It actually becomes taxing later in the game.

nothing 'fixes' it, since they base it on IP gateways. there's ways to get around it though.

proxy is your best bet. just google "free proxy", and you'll find sites that have lists of them. you just need to pick one, then copy and paste the url from the MMO bonus page (where it has the captcha) into their text box.

would be good to drop this and rebalance bonuses because of the binary nature of decay utility this becomes a much bigger issue now with the decay nerf

its a static private ip, and i just checked its not a proxy with these sites as well, didnt get the bonuses today and i checked about 10 minutes after the time was up for the previous day and it already says someone else has voted which while possible is unlikely

Hi, I would like to report that MMORPG is still bugged.
It was good for a few mths but recently, probably the start of Feb, everytime I type in the captcha, it apparently registers the vote. BUT when i go back to EE site, I don't get my bonus and the link is still active for me to click to vote again.

Basically, it just doesn't register my input and I get no bonus points or get my vote in at all.

i just experienced this too , over the last day or so , i think however i figured how to get around it . i logged into the site on a different browser , i usually use firefox , and an older version at that . but to try and test the issue i used chrome , and to my surprise after reclicking the bonus , in the chrome and then answering the captcha it credited the bonus .. maybe some cookie issue or something , i shall try clearing cookies or something if it reoccurs in firefox tomorrow .
