Prevent "self-farming" and limit clan size to, say, 256 (16 x 16). Thoughts?

Are you playing FFA to rank as an individual, or as a clan? If a clan, then what's the point in being in a clan if you've no chance whatsoever of finishing well, due to the fact that some other clan has so many members that you have no chance?

If an individual, then what's the point of having clans in the first place?

Mercs has just 6 members, and would have finished with about 19 billion TNW last set if I hadn't had 12 of my countries killed in the last 24 hours. Thats enough to compete for TNW every set.

If you have less than 6 members, it'll be harder to compete for TNW, but you still have a very good chance at ANW.

Whats the reason for limiting clans to just 256 countries? That changes almost nothing. I don't think you understand how this game works...

OK, let's assume for the moment that I don't know how this game works. What, as a clan, are you trying for? TNW? ANW? Members?

And self-farming? *crickets* Go figure.

There's about 18 self-farming discussion threads a set on here, look book through some posts and you'll get an idea of why it won't (and shouldn't) be removed.

NM, I remember when FFA was instituted on Earth: 2025. It was supposed to be a buglight for cheaters. I guess it works pretty good, then?

Clans have the freedom to compete for whatever they like - ANW, TNW, Kills, Most CS's, most land fat country, whatever...

Point is, if you want a server where restrictions keep everyone equal in numbers, just go play the server where they have already set that up. Plenty of folks like the dynamic here just fine, and it is working out quite well.

I'm not even getting into the self farming discussion, as that subject has been beaten to death about 5 bajillion times since this server opened. If you don't like it, don't do it, then pull an iMag and call it a moral victory.
