Commentary:

NBK is starting to catch up, while TKO keeps trying to keep the lead.

CC blew SALT a new one and reduced their average land to 6K acres, that few acres can't support a lot of networth, so won't look good for SALT, on the other hand CC is mostly Restarts, so they should be having a hard time breaking SALT...

Can SALT recover of that FS? probably not without a mayor moral boost :)

I still remember seeing NBK countries with 2-4bil cash onhand and 150+mil bushels and fluffing myself. Glad we got rid of them then, but hell there are still some scary countries in there that we need to get rid of.... pronto.

Gambit average walling is better then mine, I was extremely vulnerable on weekends, Gambit has no weakness :P
Though when we were sleeping in middle of the night I could log on and start walling within 15 second of first hit from a dead sleep, Gambit would take at least 25, maybe even 30 seconds, that newb.

NBK vs TKO is the first good war since NBK vs Pan/Focus. I much prefer a good war over fluffy ones.

From what I can remember of last set.

CC FS Focus/IMP (bad war) Also, fun little bit of info. SALT almost FSed CC about a week into that war. Who knows who would have won after that, but Focus/IMP seemed to not really be fighting. So, we probably would have lost. But would have been a much better war/closer war.

Ares FS SALT (bad war) This war could have been better, however Ares basically stopped fighting after the FS. We also expected Natural Numbers to join in, which would have made it a much better fight.

This set

NBK FS CC (bad war) This war would have been much better had it been CC FSing NBK (i know CC you don't have to say it again.) Now this war would have been a good war had CC called in Focus. (sort of like SALT calling in Ares, that made a good war) However lets say NBK calls in IMP. Now it would be a bad war. (kind of like CC calling in Focus)

Which bring us to the war SALT is currently in.

Now it is what it is. However I personally like fighting in a good war rather then a bad one. And same goes with watching a war. And I am more interested in a good war, then who wins what in a bad war.

IMP FS TKO (bad)
Now this war was almost good. However, I thought the plan was for IMP/SALT FS TKO/SemperFi which would have been a much better war. However, for some reason we didn't get included in FS plans. I wasn't really mad, I just assumed some sort of miscommunication. But when it came to IMP calling us in after the fact. We chose to fight SemperFi, who we found out was going to hit if anyone else jumped in TKO/IMP war, so we wanted to get a jump in on SemperFi. We also assumed IMP would call in someone else to make it a better war.

SALT FS SemperFi (bad)
Which is too bad, cause it could have been a good war. First, we had 2-3 inactive strings, so we weren't as big as we looked. Plus, many of our 'active' players had missed turns due to RL and etc, so over all our countries were much weaker. If Semper had organized a bit, and used there stock, I actually think we would have lost.

Commentary

TKO vs NBK:
Nice war right there, TKO hit NBK with full turns, while NBK had a GOOD amount of them on hand and could put a powerful CS right away.

Is death even, but numbers don't lie, NBK is getting the upper hand, they are starting to lose breaking power, but they have managed to almost close the initial networth gap, so it isn't a problem; is a matter of time before NBK starts to beat TKO, but as one of the topdog clans of FFA, we can't expect less, the mid set implosion proved to be good for both NBK and the server as their numbers are more healty and they are still in good shape, maybe not at 100%, but still strong.

CC vs SALT

War was more or less Even at the start, but SALT suffers from activity issues and made clear CC would roll stomp them in a matter of days, Ares jumping to the fray added more targets, but their help is minimal (they need to use 6 of their 16 countries at the same time to get some sort of effect "learn to rush with 10 countries per member OMG")

CC vs SALT/Ares was a uphill battle for CC, but given by the performance of both Ares and SALT they would had won in the end, or at the very least it would have been death close.

With FoCuS jumping on the fray:
CC/FoCuS vs Ares/SALT
Is death clear SALT and Ares don't stand a chance, Ares should had considered their situation before they went to war, because even if your FDP asks for help, you need a minimal set of benchmarks to get and do in order to be useful to your allies, and in the mean time you FA them to make them hold the line while you get ready.

This war will either cause the rebirth of 2 alliances or cause their destruction.

Both SALT and Ares need to ask NBK and borrow some of their leaders time to act as advisor's to improve themselves (alliances used to do this WAY back in the day, paying reps to the allies that asked them, and yes douche "allies" did that...)

i doubt this is going to permanently damage salt or ares. its just a war. focus was in the same basic position last set. not every war can be close, not every war can be won.

I am just saying they need to get their act together, this war has proven that both clans have weaknesses, and they need to get rid of those, or at the very least learn to pull ahead of them...

its just inactiveness. not every clan is full of members who get online every day and actively war. if every clan was like NBK or CC things would be alot more interesting.
