i worked in pre-press and the print industry for 12 years....

Sorry Slash but there is a good reason macs are the prefered computer of choice and it will most likly stay that way for another decade or two,most Print shops will still have old macs running equipment long after we are both 6 feet under.

Can some windows based PC's do similer work,ofcourse they can but they are not as reliable as a mac

Any good? That's relative. I mean, I played in a band and got paid to do it and stuff, but I'd consider myself fair.
