I'll say it now... it's been ten years since I last used the name... but I realized sometime after leaving SworDxTC in 2000 that I didn't need to use a username that had everyone under the assumed belief that I was a guy to get away with being a complete asshole to everyone, use profanity and more or less be myself.

More or less, I find myself agreeing with Axl Rose on alot of things, but to best illustrate my point, I have a nice clip from something he said live as an introduction to the song Live & Let Die to give you my true sentiments.

No... oddly enough, I used to have an AOL screen name when I started playing Earth: 2025, that was SLAshFan1973. But after the Earth: 2025 forums were reset in late 2000 and there was a strict rule allowing you to only have --one-- username, when everyone was re-registering their usernames... someone decided to take mine, which at the time was Unforgiven, named from the Metallica song of the same name.

So, after trying to find a username that I believed would fit me best, I decided to drop the 'fan1973' from my AOL screen name and went with that, not knowing it would cause so much fluff years later.

Mind you I'd used AOL up until 2000, so by the time I'd quit using the name later in 2001 I'd already moved on to usernames that had nothing to do with music artists or songs.

LOL, actually the name was inspired by three things. A tattoo Victoria has on her left arm 'Belladonna', the PlaySation 2 game of the same name, and of course the Nightshade from Dungeons & Dragons.

LOL... And here, I would think everyone would know the real truth of what happened with Guns N' Roses.

Slash left the group because he couldn't have his way, rather than collaborating with the members of the band as a whole, he wanted everyone to do things his way. It was his way or the highway, and unfortunately, rather than Axl Rose walking away from the group he founded with Traci Guns (the original guitarist for Guns N' Roses before Slash) and Izzy Stradlin' he told Slash that if he was going to leave the group over not getting his way and being a childish fluffhead, than he could kick rocks.

Because of this, Slash took --his-- material he couldn't get Guns N' Roses to play, and formed Slash's Snakepit and used the material to release the album known as It's Five O'Clock Somewhere. Since then, Slash has talked this game about if Axl would be mature, if Axl could have, would have, should have... and all of this bullfluff. The truth of the matter is, Axl does not want Slash back, he tried to take over the group once, and once was enough for him.

Have you guys ever seen a picture of Slash? She's freakin' HOT. Even if Slash is a dude and looks nothing like the picture I've seen, my wife has stopped hormone therapy and hasn't had any interest in sex for like 2 years now, and I'd bang the cat let alone Slash whether he's a he or she's a she.

To be fair here, anything I have said on --these-- forums, and by that I mean Earth Empires' forums, not those of Earth: 2025 has in some manner been recorded, and is open to debate anytime anyone should feel competent enough to try and twist what I have said so far out of context or to use my own words against me.

I have made the point of having been taken out of context repeatedly through the previous decade. And you would figure, after a while it gets pointless.

I have never said I was some war hero, I have never been awarded any medals, I joined the military at a young age when the economy had gone to fluff in the early 1990's just after the first Gulf War. I have had to endure moving from place to place because of it. I have lived in Ogden, Utah; Las Vegas; Nevada, and in Los Angeles, California off and on through all of this, and finally after I left in 2003 I settled back in Los Angeles.

Also, let me say one thing. Between 1991 and 1998... our military had a higher civilian kill ratio than we did with enemy combatants. It is something I am not proud of, and for that being one of the many reasons I don't talk about my service in the military.

Since someone had already stolen 'Unforgiven' I went with Slash as at the time I was listening to You Could Be Mine by Guns N' Roses and couldn't think of anything better than 'Slash'.
