I'm not a big death metal fan. My "outer edge" of Metal kind of stops at the border where Disturbed, Pantera, Anthrax, Motorhead and other bands like that live.

That's not to say that I don't occasionally listen to something like Type O-Negative, but really, Death Metal just isn't my cup of tea.

Yeah Scale the Summit toured with Dream Theater too Vic. :)

Eh, like you might feel about death metal, I can't really get into that power metal style of vocals much anymore..

Anyone excited for the new Opeth album 'Heritage'? Apparently it's gonna be very 70s prog rock and not have any death/harsh vocals..

Megadeth is really heavily involved with video games! With this, Gears of War, and Sudden Death, they have the title track to two badass games and the ultimate Guitar Hero track. Very cool. :)

Yeah.. I just read a review of it that didnt have much good to say.

New In Flames just came out as well.. apparently its better than the last one, but I haven't really cared too much for them since the colony/clayman days.

New TBDM is leaked now as well I believe.

all 3 of the human abstracts albums sound very different so that might depend on what song you listened to:/ Check out 'Complex Terms' off their newest, dunno if that style is too heavy/techy for you though.. Periphery's pretty cool though, yeah. Djent!
