TBH I don't take offense to thomas's nerd rage and bravado. If Sanct FSd a netting LaF especially with FS power I think they would probably win

If LaF FSd Collab out of the blue, it would result on a quick tag kill.

If it was pre planned at current numbers, laf has a 20-25% members advantage with better country builders we'd have to seriously underperform to lose

That being said this was prompted by Thomas being upset that I speculated Sanct was never on a prime MDs level.

Nobody is on a prime anybody's level, dip fluff.

And we could easily arrange it. We both know a war is coming, we both prep, but we get the surprise FS due to numbers disadvantage. With turn saving, country builds, spy ops, you'd have a good idea of when that would be anyways.

I'm pretty sure we got blindsided by SoL first reset when we were netting and we kept the war close. You think you can outperform them and quickly tagkill us?

Lots of talk from someone who has a pretty fluffty track record as of late.

I'm not going to troll. I think collab is a legit alliance that has done pretty well in wars. I was speculating based on raw numbers, which often mean jack

Also Thomas I agree that no alliance is at their prime level, maybe Evo actually.. But my point in the other thread was MD was great and from what I hear they have huge numbers in the other game, so even if they come back committed with a decent showing they could be a top dog on the server. It wasn't meant to be a slight on collab, more a praise of MDs potential

Collab == Sanct.

When Sanct went back to 1a after getting crushed in EC a couple times, they merged with someone and became Collab.

I would say a lot of the players here don't know anything abuot MD in its prime, and I doubt that many current alliances could claim to compete with older alliances in their prime simply because of the number of people playing the game. We're just comparing apples to oranges

anoniem, it was a merger, but is (now) made up of a majority of SancTers, so we're somewhat transitioning back to that name :p
bore, axa was basically remaking SancT on ec, but created it as a joint venture with other clans, and so used the collab name... there would have been a fair bit of overlap with the members from 1a SancT, though I wasn't around at the time

To say it was a "merger" isn't really correct.

I said I would start up an alliance on EC and welcomed the SancTers (effectively it was meant to be Sanctuary, but I hadn't played in some time so I was unaware of how the name would be welcomed back). I started it with MeanKai (a 1A SancTer) as my VP; and he knew some Culters who would play, so he asked them to come back. Additionally, LD, another SancTer (long time SancTer at that), ran with some guys on EC already and got them to join.

Essentially, it's always been at least 75% SancT, and never actually was a "merger" between other alliances, but it capitalized on people who had other alliance connections.

Everything about "Collab" is gone except for our domain/site name on Boxcar or when people call us Collab on the forums.
