So i just bought it.

Anyone else got it. Ive played about 3 hours so far and am enjoying it a lot.

I hated the first one. SUUUPER boring and to slow to get to the action.

How is DA2 different?

Didnt play the first one. So couldnt tell ya.

But id imagine you may find this one too slow also then. Cause it does a lot of story development leading up to battles etc.

Hmmm yes, a modern game, with graaaaphiiics. I am sure someone from Sol has it. I have a friend who has Dragon Age 2.

my GF plays it.

I just started a mage and am about 3 hours in as well.

The first was a bit boring to me as well so i never played it
this one however you tend to be...... more in the action which i like
makes ya feel the battles instead of observing them. Plus Merrill is hot.

Thats what I do. The only problem is that for online games by the time I turn up, nobody is around.

Im about half way through it on a mage and also on a rogue. I really enjoy the game.

For anyone that has ever played wow or diablo etc. Its better than them cause you have control over the story line and also you control all 4 characters. So its like playing every class at once.

I'm interested in playing as a Mage. But I just bought Crysis 2, so it will have to wait.

Finished the game as a mage and as a rogue.

Very fun. Loved how both stories ended up quite different for me.

Preferred the first over the second, I liked having extra control over all of the characters. It was more tactical, DA2 is more action-y. Still like DA2 though.

Yep i agree.

Only reason i dont like the game is because there are only some occasions where your decision actually matters. Other times no matter what you do or choose the event will still occur.

But if you accept that the story line is somewhat pre-decided for you, then its a fun game. Because most games you actually just follow a storyline and cant really affect it.

I went both stories... and yeah, I was hoping for a Dragon Age Origins type story ending where you can end it 6 ways.. 3 with Alister as king, 3 with whats her name as queen.. so many differnt ways.. kill the one ladies father, spare him and exile Alister, spare him and execute Alister.. die, don't die, or noone dies... the one thing I absolutely love is the New Flemith.
