well Admins dont like it when someone threatens to destroy FFA with bots

he didn't. admins just don't have any idea what he said and assumed that.

no he 100% did threaten to bot the server, just not on the boards. I've seen the logs

either way, when his account was banned this post was automatically deleted, highly doubt any admin even saw it. The only reason I have it is I was only a few pages off and hit the back button to access it again.

We've seen other players make the same threat and no action has been taken. So why exactly was he banned?

So he was banned for having too many allies in Primary?

i don't think titanium's threat might've just been an empty one.

Funny how Primary has a "spirit of the server" clause, but self-farming is allowed here even though that goes against the original "spirit of the server"

im far from a mod, however from what i know on this case is:

he was deleted based on the "spirit of the server" policy for solo servers that is being cracked down on, hes far from the first to be deleted

when he was deleted he threw an EPIC temper tantrum and was pretty rude and threatening to the mods

i was shown a small portion of the convo and was asked my opinion and i 100% agree with the ban.

Well as an alliance leader I do think I deserve an explanation as to why exactly one of my members were banned from the game.

bsnake did get caught breaking the rules. titanuim was not banned for threatening bots. he was deleted for rules violation.

what original spirit of the server? when was self farming ever ever against the spirit of the server in EE?

Bottom line he was banned from every server, and I as his alliance leader would like a straight answer from the admins as to what exactly lead to this.

he wasnt banned for his post on the boards. he was banned for what he said in private chats. read fords post. it was probably more then just bots.

and he was telling you that that IS why he was banned

why dont you ask titanium? mods have never given people an explanation why people were banned before. not sure why you think youre entitled to the mods explaining exactly why he was banned, especially since it was not a FFA specific ban.

Are you people for real? Are the admins supposed to magically know who all of the leaders of IMP are and preemptively offer every single one of you an explanation? He said he had an alliance country as well, should I track down all of their leaders too?

If you have a problem, you need to find an admin.

I already spoke to an IMP leader for quite a length of time. Ask him what was said.

People will complain, I know a good part of the details of the issue, but not enough to make a solid ban or not ban decision.

But it is still an iffy situation, and I can understand why someone would be upset, and feel powerless.

Details about country deletions are generally private. There's absolutely no reason to post on FFAT about why one primary country was deleted. People are "powerless" because they choose to be.

Threatening to bot the server is indeed against the rules. I have no idea why anyone would think that is acceptable behavior. It's amazing how threatening the server with bots is okay, but banning a player who deleted all of his countries and swore to never play again isn't okay.

I'll tell you what, I'll quote an email to you guys since it doesn't have anything to do with the ingame deletion:

"I will be ordering your servers killed though... Thanks for all the good times... but they aren't over yet.

Titanium"

Fairness wise you are correct Slag, and detail wise, I agree, I do not need to know.

But people in a position of power have to wait until someone does screw up, unless they have proof that they are doing or WILL do something wrong.

People get mad, they vent, especially over messengers and IRC and what not cause they don't have to face people face to face. It doesn't make anyone more 'evil' it just makes them less restrained.

You cannot ban someone until they did something intentional against the rules. And over a online game, you cannot hold what they said against them just cause they were mad.

I am assuming titanium had a problem because he had no say in anything, all he could do was do whatever you said, which is why there may have been a tantrum.

I have been a victim of mods before, not in this game by a long shot, but in others, and I rarely lose my temper. So I can sympathise with anyone who flipped out over something little.

I don't know what is happening, but can you make this right, I am sure he is willing to talk if you are willing to actually talk to him too.

Just to make things clear, I have never talked to him before, I am just stating what I think, based on what I see.

As for threatening to bot, that is the only threat people can make that matters, no one else cares about anything else they might bring up.
He said it as more of a threat then any real intention, as many other players have done.
