Too fluffing right! i dunno why im being drawn into this seeing as i havnt played in laf in like 6 months, but my 2 cents, PDM dont have a pact with LaF because when they did, they suicide laf and didnt pay reps, then fluffed out about being fs'd over it, and essentially had a mass suicide (although they called it a fs) on laf agian, losing all credability as an alliance in the process.

No one has ever/will ever accept missile/special retals, and any alliance attempting to enforce such a policy has always been farmed as no one respect an alliance that thinks that is a legitimate form of retaliation.

I know when i was don i was always nicer to alliances like icn,lcn,monsters etc didnt reply with the stop grabing me or i'll suicide.

We were pacted to LaF the past 2 sets, and there have been no suicides. In fact, there haven't been any PDM suiciders on LaF for quite some time now, pacted or not.

But I guess something that happened a long time ago MUST continue to be true even though things change, correct?

I'm now a TAN fan. Took years, but it finally just happened.

#3 SS isn't playing in LaF for the past few resets (including this one) so he's not representative of anything LaF, nor does his memory of PDM includes the previous 2 resets when we were pacted

it was when he was using the video call app on the iphone, that was our app (not facetime) :P it was in the front.. i thought it was facetime until i saw the logo, it was our product =)

and LaF, I honestly have no hard feelings though I don't see what you did as wise whether it was planned or not. It is easy to see when you are corssing a line, and your members did just that, knowing that FA's would sort it out later and they would still be free to netgain.

How is donating land from smaller countries in lieu of proper retals any different than internal farming?

Well, you can let your FA sort it out, or you can let your retallers sort it out. We don't have too many people who are good at FA over here, but make the most with what you got :D

i dont think he meant us beating you again, i think he just meant you losing a war, again.

10 years ago, if you came to AT to fluff about retals, you would get laughed off AT and grabbed more by other alliances.

My only complaint is I am running outta retals to do :P

my only real issue with LaF's grabbing is that they grab your retallers back with different countries and claim that it's not a RoR because they didn't send a message

the rest of it is fair playing and if you have countries with stock just jump and make them pay, you can take back all their gains in 1 hit and make them lose land by the second.

You can't have a low defense retaller, or he would just be everyone's farm. It is about solid countries and teamwork :)
