mIRC will not let me use it anymore without paying. So i am seeing if there is another free IRC i can use thats not a site.

Leave the web site to download it please.

Trillian Astra has a decent IRC client built in. Also, I've heard that ice chat is pretty decent for a dedicated client.

you mean on ice chat? I had no problems w/ news feeds on trillian, other than the highlighting system sucks.

If mIRC displays the "Exit" instead of the "Continue" button just restart the program. It does it to me every once in a while. Sometimes I have to restart it a few times.

You can sometimes get caught in a loop where it will only give the exit option. There is a good work around, but I won't post it here since it's not exactly a legit way to do it.
