Just curious where people think they are going to be? Higher or lower then last set? I'd have to guess higher since unless RD is complete fail their landfarmers will finish fairly high and there are more clans netting(sof? laf?)

So....165mill for top 10 and maybe 150 for 25? I'm hoping its lower though ^_^

T10 will be higher than that imo. if those 50k/40k rd countries dont hit 200-220M ill be really surprised. that leaves like 7 spots for the rest of us. if i had to guess id say out of those 7 id be really surprised if they werent all techers given the tech market this set

oh plus there might be some evo buyouts or fa chains to get to t10.

i can say with certainty that sof will not be a part of any funny business this time around. at least of any organized sort.

Eh I never noticed evo do that but I'm glad sof wont this set. The RD farmers annoy me enough :P on a bright side they still managed to get their land late so I'll put my bet for a lower finish for the RD'ers :P I dont trust their netting after last sets showing.

I would think top 10 cutoff will be around 185 million.

i think the RD farmers actually got their land fairly early relative to everybody else. they should all hit 200M if they knew how to play.

p.s. who were the ones who put up 700+M bushels on the market yesterday? i saw at least 2 batches. whoever they are should finish 200M+ as well.

I was thinking 175M for top 10, 135 for top 50, $100M for top 100.

I have a feeling fewer alliances will pact RD next set since they're so fat. The land is just ripe for some LGs.

I'd venture to say the cutoff will be about 175mil. I'm suspecting 8 of the top ten countries will all be techers. SoF should have a pretty decent showing up there, LaF will have a few too and an Evo or 2 has a chance.

Thomas, that might be so. Though, your 'anger issues' with us are more likely to be behind your statement. Just so you know you weren't the first RD'er that RD killed in Team. You were playing for tag protection and gave us 2 suiciders and didn't help in the kill runs on either while you kept netgaining. So your country was killed as well.

We harbour nothing else against you on that, it just was that you weren't a fit for our team server tag. You seem to be having some fun anyways organizing your little RD take down over there anyways.

Locket, atleast Thomas has a reason to be angry at us.

Actually I haven't carried any issues from Team. I just hate the intra-clan farming as it's very lame to do.

I was involved in a handful of KRs. When I logged in to the site the kill targets were dead everyday so why would I show up to the chatroom? You have 47 colors and 2 actual members. Communication breakdown.

It'll be interesting to see the top 10 breakdown by alliance. There are a couple of SoFers that I know will be in there, a few LaF guys that have been having really good resets. RD should place at least 3, if not 4. I would hope EVO will have at least 2, although we'll see! The competition will be fierce. :)

alright i probably shoulnd't have asserted that it would be evo doing fa or buyouts just someone in evo said one of their t10 finishes wasn't legit last set i didn't know what that meant i just assumed they meant fa or a mini buyout of some sort

The player who was 10th last set has his profile open, and he got top 10 the set before that, and I'm pretty sure neither of them had to do with buyouts or FA.

Maybe you are thinking about how SoF's top finishers weren't legit because they were completely buyouts and FA, and then people said they were taking away the top 10 spots from the players who truly deserved it? I can see how that might be confusing.

I have played in EVO for a few sets and I have never seen any organized FA or buyouts either...
I choose to believe their Top countries are there becoz they are that good, until I see hard evidence to suggest otherwise

higher than last set really? I guess I'd be surprised by that but I'm the only one it seems. I mean I guess I can't comment on top 100 cut offs, but for top 10 at least to me it seemed there were very few landfat countries early on this set. But perhaps I was focusing on the usual suspects (LAF+EVO) too much and not the two clans that will dominate the t10 this set (SOF+RD?)

There are less big countries this set overall and early so I could see it being lower. But then you have the RD self farmers(who might be getting FA too...why just do 1 right?) who will be there and from what I hear 1-2 sof techers who might be in there... so thats maybe half the spots with good finishes i'd assume....

I think top legit finish will be lower this set though...

Since apparently this is worth arguing about, lets see if i can finish this argument

1 ive seen evoers grab each other

2 ive seen laf send FA upwards to gain ranks

3 RD is farming themselves and has done a ton of other fluff in the past

4 enter all the other crap the 3 mentioned tags has done before

If anything SoF is/has netted waaaaay more legit then any of these 3 tags in the past

my stance and SoFs stance on all of this is that ALL of it shouldnt be done, I never took a part of it happening last set and I definately wont take part of anything of the sort in the future

So now slagpit,lime, locket and distopia can go troll about something else

I'm 99% certain SoF will have 2 Top 10 finishes and yes they were both techers. I am also fairly confident in a 3rd, but none of these 3 countries received FA or buyouts of anysort and will not be receiving them either

Does this include the techer who farmed two clanmates? One of whom got deleted and not reinstated and one who was leaving to become a mod..

edit: cause that was some quality acreage but the biggest advantage was that it came really early on
