No, no, I meant everyone getting kicked out of the chatroom. I understood the point of the conversation, just not what Jeweler's reason for kicking everyone out was.

negotiations were over and it was MRA's server and private room so ..........

The meeting in general was long winded and really went no where.

It ended that The Syndicate and Deadly Undertakings did in fact merge and at one point, we were just under 100 members which lasted about two or three sets.

Mars 2025 was then formed or formed shortly after and many of the DU members went there to play. DU were mostly Russian speaking players and very few of them spoke English. It was an interesting merger for what it was worth and I did enjoy my time working with Hyperion and the DU membership.

If memory serves me correctly, Jeweler is also part owner of Mars 2025 today.

DU were one of my favourite alliances in Earth, mainly because I liked talking to Hyperion.

man, du and mra were both great groups. it was my favorite time playing earth with them in tehclub. they should have both stuck with us when umonks started *shakes fist@ zeus =p

In hindsight I doubt that it would have worked out as great as we'd all imagened. Best bet: 1 set and then lotsa spin offs.

Anyway it just wasn't ment to be, too much ego's, stubborness and different agenda's.

chances are, with even more weight to throw around, woulda lasted longer.... 3 1/2 years.

Then KSF participating wouldn't made much difference and the fact we pulled out didn't matter that much, most I knew already quited or stopped not long after (including myself)
