Unless I am much mistaken, December 2010 marks the half-way point between the launch of Earth 2025 and the year 2025.

I recognize that "2025" is no longer a part of this game's name, but I feel that this is still a significant mile-stone for the community and worth mentioning.

nice, i remember when the game came out 2025 sounded so futurist. Offcourse we had 56k internet connexions back then.

That could be me, I guess people remember me from a set in 2003 when I detagged as rank1 on the last day as a protest because LaF wouldn't boot the rank2 player (blaze) who cheated.

isdn had 64k or 128k, some modem makers might have tried to get beyond 56k but those weren't standardised.
