5 or more hits made by a single clan in 24 hours will also result in FA contact because obviously there is a problem developing that needs solved.

Heres the problem developing..

We're policing for Pan while they are warring, Therefore in regards to landgrabs and such they fall under our jurisdiction for doing retals, since we are the ones doing the retals.

You've hit them 10 times since last night, in fact.. you lucky lovable lugs are probably the reason why we were asked to be police in the first place.

Now... since you dweebs probably don't have messengers and follow 'normal' FFA FA protocol... it can either be;

the double tap: we're retalling 3 times.

The Quad Tap: we're going to pummel, hitting it not less than 12 times.

The OTHER Quad Tap: we're gfoing to pummel, hitting it not less than 12 times.

OR!!! We Can;

Farm all 3 of the offending countries.

at the moment its 8:30am eastern

you have until 8:30PM eastern to either respond here, or in my instant mesenger acknowledging the 27 total retals we are going to take, or by 8:35pm eastern FoCuS is going apefluff on your land.

Despy

your policing announcement wasn't made until now, and doesn't pull back to the start of this war

2ndly
PAN illegitly killed a country of mine. Ask Havoc for details
i took the right into my own hands, to get at least a bit back

so before you jump on your horses, check the complete history. My advice: ask Havoc

I am a troll. Everything I say must be assumed to be said solely to provoke an exaggerated reaction to the current topic. I fully intend to bring absolutely no substance to any discussion, ongoing or otherwise. Conversing with me is pointless.

and my hits were a before the post...

so thank you for the warning Focus, but i think that all my hits against PAN are a problem between the 2 of us and don't need your interferance

wow looks like reasonable fa happens in ffa once again

retrospective policing is always a big ask, but people tend to remember who does it to them

so even if someone wasnt supposed to be grabbing pan it might not be the best idea to have been doing it

usually when a clan is declared on, you don't wanna farm them, especially when the country you are farming is getting killed as you do it

Eww..... One must be careful about top feeding in FFA. That's a well best only gone to on rare occasions.

Just because Land/Land isn't normally recognized in FFA doesn't mean your ass might not get spanked over a top feed.

We don't try to uphold L:L but if it becomes a reoccurring theme we will either work out with an FA or just take what we decide we think is fair

lol Dragon I don't recall ever really taking it to you i've always had a soft spot for ESD. You keep things small and controlled and kick ass at the game. Not too much poop talking from you but just enough trolling all in all I'm a big fan!

No. You never really DID "take it to ESD" but surely you can't think that a leader of a small netgaining clan doesn't keep an eye on players in other clans that can bring the pain if things go wrong.

I have a list. You're on it. :)

Top-feeding is a none issue with the new formula for gains, rewarding mid-feeds, giving a heavy penalty to top-feeding and making bottom-feeders untouchable.

I don't think "top feeding" has ever actually been about acres. It's about smacking that Fat Bastard in soandso's clan because he thinks he can just get as big as he wants without defending his acres.

I dunno. How the hell do you "top feed" a Theo MBR? Anyone with ungodly acres that can't defend his acres is either lazy or an idiot. But maybe that's different 7 years after I quit playing.

I guess it all boils down to strategy and exactly what kind of government you want to run being insanely fat.

with a thinner ttr spending more of its income on jets rather than stockpiling

but usually it would be thin/regular ttr doing it to a casher/farmer

tmbr by their nature dont need to stock just grow, but their income isnt comparable either

doesn't matter which government, very few people believe in having defensive units

and then they fluff topfeed if I grab them with 100k jets and trim 3k acres off em... when my NW is higher than theirs before the grab

a rep cash is usually fatter than demo/dict cash

Right, but when you have 300K acres and 12 turrets, you certainly shouldn't be mad at ME when I PS you for 5K, right?

Most people that cry about getting top fed are doing so because their greed or complacency led them to not defending themselves properly.

no thats cool, but i dont enjoy it when the only strat that you wont get topfed with is techer, thats why i played techers this set since i was expecting ffa to be very topfeedy

it doesnt seem to be that way except for the insane land countries with no defence though

i was calcing max defence on some of the 70k countries a few days ago and it was crazy

I know you understand it because MIA could well have killed ESD one reset when I personally top fed one of your clan's countries.

I'm sure you don't remember that, but I do. I didn't particularly like you or MIA at the time. It was obviously a top feed and I made an issue about it on FFAt and you were cool as the other side of the pillow in your response.

I guess that it might all even itself out though. A nicely sized casher can have good defense and stockpile enough to compare to a Theo.

Maybe what needs to be done is to nerf the reduced PM weapon prices that Theos enjoy to level the playing field a bit.

i probably posted a very long post explaining how its almost impossible with 3 offense allies and planned strike versus two defence allies to run a non techer with sufficient defence not to get successfully grabbed by some early stocking 10k techer or something

right now techers make about double per acre what a fully teched casher would

but a grabbing casher wouldnt be fully teched at this point so it might be as high as triple, and its not that long ago tech prices were 50% higher

the problem is that in the old days people used to be okish with teching at 1800 a point, after the change that became 2400 a point, but prices are usually well above that

and even in pure $/acre terms near enough isnt good enough because of the food cycle
