::vomits::

My favorite line was that of Republicans "attacking women's reproductive rights" LMFAO....so now abortion is considered reproducing, maybe technically it is but once you abort it is no longer reproducing, right?......I'm lost here....unless the republicans are pushing people to use birth control I really don't understand what the libtards are accusing the republicans of here..."attacking woman's reproductive rights"...what in the world?!

Maybe Pang can clear things up since he's so in tune with American politics..

It seems to be pretty clearly referencing issues like the Hobby Lobby and Notre Dame court cases that have involved religious exemptions for the birth control mandate found in the ACA.

Abortion and birth control are anti reproduction, how can your reproductive rights be under attack if you're against reproducing via birth control & abortions?

As far as "reproductive rights" some states have taken it too far in trying to ban abortion outright. I dont care what someone does with their body as far as that goes, it is not my body to choose...I just dont want to pay for it.

My personal beliefs are that at conception it is a child. I cannot morally abort that child. I dont want my dollars involved in it, be it through insirance pools or taxes funneled to abortion clinics.

If they want it done, pay for it themselves.

Additionally i would be in favor of stripping ED coverage from insurance plans, or at least offering it as an ala carte item. As women should not be subject to subsidize that either unless they wish to.

Just because she is woman does not qualify her as a warrior for womens rights...

Just like Obama, her own staff pays women less than men for equal work.

The problem with that perspective is that you'll be hard pressed to find ANYTHING the government pays for that everyone agrees with. Many people don't feel their money should be paying for military spending, or financial bailouts, or education etc.

Some of your tax dollars are going to go towards things you don't agree with, just like everyone else's will go towards things they don't agree with. That is just the way it is. The only way to ensure people's tax dollars don't get spent on things they disagree with is to have $0 in government expenditures.

THAT'S the kind of conservative thinking I can get on board with!

While I wholeheartedly agree with your statement (that is also my general stance on abortion (abortions for some, miniature Canadian flags for others)), I'm still entirely fine with abortions being "paid for" when there's a legitimate medical (or crime related) reason for it. I don't really care about it being paid for either way assuming all medical care is paid for...

Why can't more people bring balanced opinions to this board? :p

I have it bookmarked on my pc at home. Ill post it when i get there.

In the meantime, it is widely know the obama administration does it but they are closer to like .88/1.00 so they excuse it as "we are closer than the national average so we are making improvement."

http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/...te-office/article/2560949

http://www.inquisitr.com/...pays-women-less-than-men/

this 2nd article explains that the "gap" as explained away by both Hillary and Obama, can also be brought across the country as well, that they cant have it both ways and that it is not as large as the 77 cents/ $1 that is claimed, once you look into the data.

Furthermore, Hillary is dumping her female lead staff that she used in 2008 (and I applauded her for at least walking the talk back then) and taking on Obamas male dominated campaign staff that she openly criticized him over during the race in 2008. One which will certainly see a significant disparity of men and women on staff and women holding much lower level positions. Not exactly the champion for women that she makes herself out to be.

oh yea yea, all republicans want to do is serve corporate interests and hate women and tell the poor people to fluff off and read their bibles everyday.

just like all liberals want government to control everything and no guns to be allowed on earth because they think that we are not smart enough to have them, and they want to bring in uneducated foreign labor so that they don't have to work and they can just sit and collect from the government while the foreigner labor pays the taxes to subsidize it.

we can all generalize.....

as for net neutrality, it is bad for free and open internet. we will see over the next few years...

It is just another clever way that the Left tries to label things so they don't sound as bad as they do.

What sounds better?

Tax Credit or Loop Hole? If they said they were going to take away Tax Credit everyone would be all up in arms... But you say, we are fixing a Loop Hole.. everyone is like. "Get those dirty cheaters!"

Womens Reproductive Rights or Killing Children?

Liberals or Progressives ...

The Left just labels things "Nicer" to fool the idiot public, and it works.

In other gov news: the judge that ruled Obamas immigration actions were unconstitutional and blocked it is considering sanctioning the DOJ for lying to him about stuff they said they wouldnt be doing during the case, that they did anyways.

I cannot wait for the SCOTUS to rule on the subsidies being unconstitutional and the crying to ensue

This is a land of law. It must be followed. And as Trey Gowdy said recently:

"I’m going to say this for those who benefit from the president’s polices. You may be willing to allow the end to justify the means in this case. You may well like the fact that the president has abused prosecutorial discretion and conferred benefits in an unprecedented way. You may benefit from from the president’s failure to enforce the law.

Today, I will make you this promise: There will come a day where you will cry out for the enforcement of the law. There will come a day where you will long for the law to be the foundation of this Republic. So, you be careful what you do with the law today. Because if you weaken it today, you weaken it, forever"

This. Terms and definitions are important when it comes to law making, breaking and fixing. As most politicians are lawyers they are quite adept at manipulating language to get the masses to move they way they wish. I can't agree with the idea that it's just 'The Left', though. Both sides are equal party to the problem of euphemisms.
