Looks to become very interesting.

Two very different setups. SoF runs 90% similar strat setups. But all countries look to be rock solid and most player turns from the get go (apart from the 10ish countries that joined later this set). SOF seems to be a little more stock / war tech heavy. Due to the lower land their SPAL is likely to be higher aswell during their upcoming war. By far the veteran party when it comes to warring though.

Evo/collab/NM have higher average land so will have higher production during their initial 48 hrs of the war. Evo seems to be the most teched up of them all juding by average networth. Strategies for these 3 alliances seem to vary a lot more then those of SoF. This has the number advantage but has less warring experience and has to deal with 3 sides organizing 1 war.

Both sides have their pro's and cons. It seems to be coming down to the speed of the kills, walling(dealing with wallers) and turns/efficiency use.

My money is still on SoF but it could be very very tight.

Here is what I'll say:

EVO has probably at least 7 or 8 of the top 10 countries going into the war. Sanct ran crappy starts and compounded the error by not adapting well to poor market conditions for their starts, SOF all went tech start which just got outproduced by straight farmer or casher and there just aren't many Monsters. Not too mention a few EVOers got lucky with getting land from those countries that suicided RD and this is what you got.

On the other hand, I gotta assume SoF has the better average country (by far). There are quite a few craptastic EVO countries I see and I'm sure we will have one or two that inexplicably still come to FS with like 20% SDI etc.

That's my look at it going in, I hope I don't upset anyone (especially from my side) with my honesty. I'm curious to see what strategies both sides implement for the FS=), the first 24/48 hours are obviously gonna be critical.

Evo does have some nice countries, Sanct has a few and monsters unsure. Sof all went the same strat and are all low land for the most part, the longer this war goes the more the coalition has the edge. So definatly the first 48 hours and the stonewalling abilites of each alaince will determine the war.

I do personally give it to the coalition as to more members in the war and higher land and production, but definatly working three alainces will make those numbers even.

I think the numbers advantage evens out the lack of organization the 3 clans will have compared to SOF.

you won'y hear me whining about fairness after this war, win/lose. I think this war is going to be as fair as one can get.

i dont think you'll lack that much in organisation like everyone says, its not like you had 10 hours to prepare youve had over a month thats just a lame excuse

also dont know why evos been recruiting like mad when this was decided on and the whole reason to get 3 tags in on it was to get even numbers im all for recruiting in general but really poor planning on the other hand it actually gives me a reason to really want to kill you as I dont like when people agree on things and then dont stick to it

We could say the ame thing about SoF, when it comes to membership numbers...

We expected SoF to have way over 100 members for this war, but apparently some of the Ragers and others didn't feel like it.

evolution has obviously been recruiting like crazy. we've gone to the four corners of the earth in order to gain more members just so we can fight sof, which has clearly been our ultimate earth goal for years now.

evo have about 5 "new" players who have never played in evo. they applied through their own volition and most of them applied not knowing it was a war reset.

frankly, if evo/nm/collab lose i'm sure nobody will give a crap anyway. i'm not trying to play this supposed friendly war down, but the sooner the reset ends the better. win or lose.

p.s. sof said they would attempt to give evo/nm/collab a numbers advantage. that is what we have now, but apparently that's still not good enough.

i love this game so much.
