you know if you guys can all have a gentlemen's agreement where we all war every other reset regardless of whether you prefer to net or war (so someone like SOL/SoF wars half the time and nets half the time, and someone like NA/EVO wars half the time and nets half the time, etc.)

in other words, if a fighting alliance wants to war a netting one, the netting reset must have netted the reset prior, and the fighting alliance also. that means the fighting alliance took a break from "pushing more netters out of the game", and the netters got their netting in, so they can stop complaining and get their war on ;P

obviously if a warring alliance has an willing opponent a second reset even tho they just fought, they can surely get that fight.

and the reverse is true, if no one wants to fight a netting alliance that already netted the reset before, they can net.

but somehow it sounds kind of lame in some aspects. we used to be 15 year old kids getting nerd rage at each other trying to compare our e-penises, and some of us want to continue that tradition instead of having orderly fun ;) just kidding on that part, but i do think if everything is completely arranged the game will lose a lot of the suspense...

Maybe a little is lost, but a lot of wars in the past have been arranged and people have just not known it. If NM/Sanct could find 2 more allies to push their side over 130 countries and make a nice warchat channel on earthempires with their own newsfeed, they would have a lot of activity. I think activity makes wars fun. Wars tend to suck approaching the point of a tag kill or when your alliance is too small to easily have warchats.

NM used to war very capably in the past, so I think they will be a good asset to anyone fighting alongside them

Rag fought alongside NM once and it was awesome.

Yeah I gotta figure out how to do that.

Prearrange wars behind the scene but let everyone else have a dramafest as the public reason for war!

well hanlong i sort of agree with you but on the other side some of the most fun wars ive been in has been friendly wars

why? because the challenge is greater both tags can prepare for it both tags can hit from the same time there arent really any excuses to loosing a war like that other then that the other tag/tags was better

blindsiding a netting tag can have its fun as well, but in generally those wars are over before they even begin and being the bigger/biggest tag in the game and go out and take an FS on someone isnt really all that challenging

top to bottom, I'd put NM up with any alliance for best built countries, and daily hit rates in a war.

We're going to have to evolve in a few area's though..

and the best way to evolve is to face some pressure:)

haha ivan, i know a prearranged war has its benefits and i do agree with the points you indicated, but usually in my experience the trash talking is more subdued in those wars :P

part of the fun of war is reading/participating in the heated flame wars between the two alliances on AT ;P

I still like what your doing SOF... keep it up. Full disclosure is pretty ballsy in this game. I hope a good war works its way into the mix next set, but it'd be nice to get another war alliance involved... **cough* lookin at you Maki**Cough*

Could always just have the 3-4 netting alliances give the ones that are normally lazy and don't wanna war semi "jump boat" for a set (as I know a lot of people just play for the community and run a 1 minute every other day all-x country).

We're actually retooling a few things internally, b/c we've grown enough we're having to create volunteer positions again, and we've gotten them and its going in next reset...we're still a group that decides things collectively,
