Will be merging into SOF next set as a division.

It was a long time coming, as RAGE was contemplating its future only 6 months ago infact, but had a small revival which bought it some time. Never the less, we couldn't fight the inevitable, as we lacked active leadership, and motivated membership.

Its been a difficult decision to come to, and one we don't relish, but we feel it's for the betterment of our members, so we can remain together and free up remaining leadership to rebuild a base from which to strike back out on our own someday.

I will say this, it is in no way LCN's fault, nor did they force our hand, as we had this on the cards since before the set, and before our war with them was unavoidable.

This thread is merely to dispel any rumours and conjecture floating around. However one thing I will make clear, if alliances make attempts to poach away our members, I will see SOF crushes them next set. Our guys are free to choose where they play, but should I find out people are dripping honey in their ears, then every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

To wrap up on a lighter note, this is a farewell, not a goodbye.

SoF will police any member stealing. We reserve that right for ourselves seeing as we have to inconvenience ourselves by sharing bathroom and television time with our new house guests RAGE.

what is sof gonna do war every clan that takes a member from rage? be real you cant give your members free will to pick what ever clan they want then go and say ohh btw if you join another clan we are going to kill you next set.

On the LCN Front, thnx for FS'ing us this set guys, we wanted to end with a war, and appreciate you giving it to us, though are a bit sorry we had to jump around pretending we don't like you etc:p

highrock, as Rage wants to stick together so that the potential to re-emerge in the future is still there.. that would not be feasible. However i'm sure there will be ragers who won't play in sof.. SoF was chosen as they most aligned with what our ex-leaders/leaders felt was the values we tend to align with:

- Warfare
- Fun

+ they are our longest standing FDP. Were deeply involved in anti-SLIT planning with us in the past etc. I guess we could have gone Imag or SOL as well.

Nukevil actually made a good point somewhere else on here. We aren't netgainers, and we don't have the time to run a proper war... so who are we? this question helped make the decision process.

It's a move that's in RAGE's best interests, not the servers. It will allow us a lack of responsibility to work on getting RAGE stable and independent again, as well as seeing how a successfully operated alliance does its business.

Rage is killing the server by making sof too big!

crag, SS is probably the most active person in Rage if not in the server, but 1 man does not make an alliance active. YAY I get to war beside Murf again! UNLESS of course there is some honey out there to be dripped into my ears from another alliance? LOL

I wish you would have chosen another clan than SoF (or SOL), they are already dominating the game. The 2 war alliances i believe are allied to eachother (not sure) and can do anything they want to, specially now.

If they want to own the server go for it, they might have to fight for it but will come out on top by attrition, the netting alliances won't want to fight them of for more than 2 sets.
