You might get fined, a breath device in your car, probation, special insurance, restricted license, community service and probation. Thats if your lucky. Have fun with that. I did. Your about to start hemorrhaging $100 bills.

i guess it's fine for you not to leave the country, cuz you live in a big one. for me, if i get an offense, any arrestable offense, i can't leave the country period. and my "country" is literally a dot on the map. if i can't leave, i'm pretty screwed.

A YouTube video of you drinking would not look good to a judge and that sounds like something a prosecutor can easily find.

Also you're doing the right thing don't drink fluff.

To be honest with 8 public intoxication charges I would say you most likely have a problem and should kick the stuff

If you get arrested saturday, the only thing that happens when you go infront of the judge is you get arraigned.

No procedings occur, no jail time is talked about..but meh, thats my experience

You don't get jail time for DWI 1st in Texas. You can take jail time if you want to avoid probation. Ive seen some do 10-30 days to avoid two years of probation.

What will likely happen if you plea guilty. 12-24 months probation, DL suspended 90-180 days (Depending on if you refused to give a breath/blood sample) Interlock in your car is not likely on a DWI 1st but the judge can order it. DWI education course, Victim Impact Panel, community service, license re-instatement fee, court costs, fine, lawyer fees. It's the most expensive misdemeanor in Texas. Will cost you anywhere from 10-17K depending on if you plea guilty or not. Ive seen some spend 2,000 to a crap lawyer but you expect all of the above. You get what you pay for as far as DWI Lawyers.

Oh and it's going to take at least 7 months to get a final plea. You loose your license 40 days after your arrest.
