Anyone willing to make some predictions?

Of course, I am biased, but here goes:

ANW RACE

(1) EVO 119 m NW
(2) Omega 114 m NW
(3) LaF 110 m NW
(4) Collab 95 m NW

TOP 10 Cut-off

185 m NW

4 LaF
4 EvO
1 NA
1 Omega

If its just 185m for the top 10, LaF will have at least 6 countries in the top 10.

I'll predict that 200m is needed to make top 10 this set.

agreed, i think 185m will be the cutoff as well. but i would put LaF in the two spot over Omega, and i think it will be a lot closer than a 5m difference.

I agree with highrock - I think 200m is a little high for a top 10 cutoff. Heck, last reset 160 m NW was good enough for top 10. I think the top 10 results will be more similar to the Dec-Feb 2011 reset.

Part of the reason I said 200m is that I don't want #412 to get into the top 10 :P

I could see 185m being enough for top 10, because I do think it to be a very reasonable chance that LaF will get 6 of the top 10.

412's gonna get top10, The way i'm looking at it, i think another 5 guys will pass me, and i'm set at 170ish. So 180ish seems about right. With that said, yea 6 laf will finish higher than that, and probably 2 evo and an omega and random.

Well, we just need #412 to be ranked 10th in the final hour of the set, and then Evo to FA someone past him into the top 10. Then we can have even more drama in the LT vs KJ debates/threats of physical violence :)

6 laf in top ten and Laf will beat Omega in ANW this set although I am sure they will perform very good despite being down in land as usual.

yah from an LaF insider perspective we can't have only 4 top 10 if the cutoff is only 185M because we have 6 that will be ~200M or higher

something has to give there =)

imo the cutoff will be closer to 200M than you think highrock. i can see it realistically be like 190-195M imo

Nope. What LT is going to do is he's going have only 1 turn's worth of food on hand, and then accidentally sell turrets for $80 instead of $180, and then before buying any more food, he's going to use 3 turns to recall his military and run out of food on all three turns.

only half of the 200M club are going to be techers for LaF. but i do agree techer is so godly this reset cuz of those damned tech prices. i still can't imagine the cutoff being in the 180s tbh.. i feel like 190M at least

in all honesty SS, it is true you can top 10 in primary starting 2 weeks late. To win usually there are a few good players each set, so thats not such an easy task. And primary was always hard because you would eventually be suicided on, but with GDI now people can only attack you (non SS/PS attacks) if you hit them more than once in the reset. Thats making the game really fun!

Alliance is boring to net in. And thanks for letting me brag LT, not counting the time I played untagged, I've only netted 4 sets (probably 3 actually I can't remember what happened the second set but somehow I managed 76th) and finished 2nd, 5th and 16th...

The other servers aren't more prestigious, but they offer a much more fun playing ground which would be WAY better if the best players did give them a try again...

trolling aside dagga, it is indeed a good feat (50M nw with 1000+ attacks).

my favorite reset actually a war reset where i pumped out a bunch of hits (like 850) and still finished t100.

getting a decent nw after a long war is always rewarding, but that's not the subject of this post =)

Omega's avg probably won't be that high due to above average laziness (lack of whip cracking from Alicia!) and a lack of techers.. plus our top finishing techer self deleting:(
