Anyone know if luck bonus increases random events such as FOOD, OIL, PRODUCTION and INCOME?

Luck

Luck is the subtlest of the permanent bonuses. Investing in luck will lead to better explore returns, greater missile production, and lower market times. In addition, lucky countries have a greater chance of getting spy ops against countries with better spy networks and a greater chance of successfully attacking when oversending.

But it really screws you over whenever you want to do bioterrorism ops.

I recently lost about half my population when BIOing a suicider and my spies "accidentally" infected my own food supply. Do you have any idea what that does to a casher??

I tried luck bonus all last set, didnt help me much.

Still had earthquakes and other bad events just as much it seemed.

its not easy to tell since random events are random and once they strike there can be 2-3 inside 5 turns.

More luck is just that. It just increases your chances of good fortune... i.e an oil boom, or a missile researched.... It's a roll of the dice that are rigged to roll you a twenty ever so often (dd reference)
