The changes are moving in a good direction though. Who likes to spend large amounts of time on a country and have it completely wasted in less than 2 minutes to a kill run because they couldn't get online to wall? I don't imagine netters or warmongers enjoy that kind of warfare.

I can play other servers where I don't get tapped that much while trying to sleep. This server is too fast and the players here are too greedy.



Oh and this.... There is something wrong with the fact that my best finish on this server was me sitting in DR's the entire set under 2mil networth and finishing poorly every other set trying to "protect my land"

The way the internet works is what stops this from being feasable. It is possible to just keep adding to ban lists to keep them out, and that may be doable now for Admins who have the time, but what happens if by some stroke of miracle that we grow to 50,000 players in the future?

Hostbans are the top tool that can be used to enforce, but frankly, that can be bypassed and can also lead to innocent people locked out of the game. Its not a viable solution.

Crime works because crime pays. Removing the incentive to cheat is the best course of action by removing cheats from the scores list entirely, don't just purple them and let them sit on the score sheet.

I don't know who you are, I don't know who your cousin is, I don't know who this jayr watcher guy is. I don't know what clan you play in, what your history with this game is.

And, quite frankly. I don't give two fluffs about who you are, and if you're innocent or not.

I simply made a statement, from facts. Some dude, claiming to be Jayr's cousin, was allied to me in game, saying that Jayr and Grizzly was the same person and was his cousin, and that he (the cousin) played from an iPhone. I figured he was a noob and tried to warn him about safe listing via in game messages.

Why would I make that fluff up?

Pretty sure I warned your "cousin" in game a set or two back when he was mentioning you and grizzly while I was allied to him.

I'm one of those people, I can remember style numbers for items our stores carried 8 years ago.

That 9999 tech was mine. Saving turns for the night after my tech start and seeing if someone would actually buy it, nobody did.

Not that I know or care much about RD or what's going on here, as a 2k+ player that wasn't around in the bot days,

It is trivial for anyone to grab member lists and contact info, and it can be done legally and without breaking the game rules. That document that was floating around with member lists on it? It was nothing. It should be ignored. Anyone in this game game obtain that kind of information on most of the clans on this server. (some might actually practice good security, I wouldn't know, I haven't tried... yet ;) )

Seriously, give it a try if you don't believe it. Run around untagged, start sending out apps for every clan in the game, join every one of them that accepts you. Log into their site and grab everything you can, reports->members in boxcar for member list and contact emails/phone numbers.

Hell everything under reports. While you're at it, grab every single post on every board you have access to as a brand spanking new member of that clan, all while you're not tagged up and pretending to be a rainbow-commy noob that can't figure out how to use the auto-upload feature or tag up with the clan tag and password.

Hell, you could probably do this WHILE you're playing in a different clan. Just don't run multiple countries in the earth empires server and don't hack anything. Totally legit, standard, fair practice spy fluff.

I would be surprised if every major clan hasn't been doing this since this game was created.
