This game is showing its age. Some pages are just clunky.


1) The Military page.
Yeah, it shows readiness and when brigades will be back from their PS hits, but is otherwise useless. Is there any reason it cannot be merged with the attack screen? Just add another column to the left that has a box showing how many units are resting and when they will return.


2) In-game communications.
This is terrible. There is no other way to describe this. Can we get a proper inbox that sorts messages by sender and keeps track of our replies? It is a pain in the ass to communicate with other players on solo servers, especially if I ask several players something different each and one of them replies with "yes." and I've forgotten what I needed that person for.


3) Merge the Explore and Build Screens
Pretty much all openings start with Build. Explore. Build. Explore. Lather Rinse Repeat. I think it would be beneficial to have an exploration box on the Build screen and just trash the explore screen all together.


4) Merge the Manage and Advisor Screens
Make government selection a drop box on the advisor screen and have boxes there to adjust tax and production. One less page.


5) The spy screen
If the merging the military and war room screens works out, how about slicing off a small section of the page for hostile spy ops. Switching tabs for different functions in a single game is so circa 2004, and actually have it capable of remembering a target other than the one we are attacking with the military.



That's all I have for the moment, but I think this will be beneficial as long as the "OMG YOU CHANGED IT?! IT IS RUINED FOREVER!!!!" peeps go fluff themselves.

I've been trying to get into the boxcar site for the FFA tag I joined. Every time I try though I get this message:

Okay, the restaurant where a bunch of people were made to work is *DIRECTLY* across the street from my apartment and the houses are immediately behind me. I've just been like holy crap all day. I didn't know any of the people, but I saw them on a regular basis as we both walked to work. Anyone else ever have anything like this go down so close to home?

Good to see we're skipping the halfassed "LaF doesn't get suicided because of farming" argument usually put forward. Too bad your logic is still faulty. You're saying this situation is my fault. If I had been in a tag and #589 hit me 8 times in 24 hours, we would not even be having this conversation. He'd have been my land-fluff, assuming we didn't just kill him. There should have also been a clue about potential fallout from farming me somewhere around the time he noticed my tag name. Moral of this story is that #589 should have known better and his entire alliance suffered for his mistake.

Try to pin this on me all you want. Your noob poked a sleeping tiger. I'm going to be playing on FFA if anyone wants to try poking again. I am still waiting on the explanation on what #589 was thinking btw.

For anyone that might have been wondering, I was #123. My reasons for hitting LaF do not reflect the views of DK as I am no longer with the group. I've left DK due to some internal problems compounded with what I feel was a poor handling of a FA issue. After leaving DK, starting a temporary tag until I could find a place I found to be acceptable, I log in to discover a LaF tagged country has hit me four times. When I found a place I'd rather play, I'd have just tagged up and done some epic retals from my stockpile (which was why I remained untagged). I sifted through the offers in my inbox. I also considered just playing on another server, maybe ffa since this server is so toxic in terms of politics.

Finally, I decided I am just not going to play on this server anymore. Several hits roll in from Neofed. Then even more from LaF. Then more from Neo again. I pondered suiciding both, except Laf had already been greedy with their land dealings with me earlier in the set, what better send off than cratering the fluff out of you? Maybe next time you won't be the first to farm an untagged. Wishful thinking, I am certain.


My reasons aside.... I sat in tag protection all set and had a stockpile on the market. What could you possibly have been thinking I was going to happen when you repeatedly farm a country with a stockpile and is tagged LGmeABu? I'm curious. Explain it to me. I want to hear this one.

Yeah, the test was harder before 1995. Anyone taking it now effectively gets a free 100 points. By today's test standards, Manning would have had an 1130 and bush a 1300.

If you'd have taken the time to learn anything from your time in DK, you might have picked up on how to not get farmed. You might be a noob, but hgwt isnt new. It isnteven a real clan... you just have good proxy servers. Yeah, I said it.

I just had my first successful(?) mission to the Mun. The ship crash landed, but the crew survived and planted the flag and plaque declaring that the Mun is now my fluff... and those astronauts are now stranded there.
